I was suffering from a non-specific viral infection that left me with little to no energy and painful joints. Charlie continued to improve and it wasn't long before he was able to read again and he was able to walk unaided and his emotions were more stable. In June 2007 he was officially discharged from the hospital. June was also a remarkable month because Charlie had made such improvement that he was able to mark GCSE examination papers.
